FEBRUARY 2 LOCAL newsies Hometown Broadway star, Adam Kaplan and others from the original cast of Newsies, highlight tonight's concert. It's a benefit to help fund the Coleytown production. Hear ye! Catch the documentary, Balance: Perimenopause Journey, at Lachat Town Farm for some answers. FEBRUARY 6 western stars Wilton Library is pleased to showcase a solo exhibition by Redding resident, Robert Mars. His art will captivate with 1950’s and 60’s iconography. Opening reception tonight; art on view through 2/27.

FEBRUARY 7 Sweethearts Explore a sparkling, museum-wide party filled with music, dancing, creativity and playful surprises. Dress to impress at the Stepping Stones soirée. FEBRUARY 8 PHOto buffs Learn the history of photography and explore images from 150 years ago. Kids in grades 3 -6 will love this hands-on class at Weston History & Culture Center. FEBRUARY 9 The Goldsmith A play inspired by Actress Sharone Sayegh life's story. Through golden jewelry passed from Iraq to Israel to America, she explores identity, self-acceptance and belonging.

FEBRUARY 10 AMERICA 250 Henry Adams, a fourth-generation descendant of our 2nd President and First Lady, will highlight Abigail Adams' advocacy for women's rights and abolition, her role in the Revolution, and her spirited personality. Pequot Library, 6pm FEBRUARY 11 Pub MUSIC Join the fun at the Gaelic American Club's Trad Music sessions every Wednesday night in Fairfield. Listen, play, or tap your feet to the rhythm. Not a member? Find an Irish friend and attend as their guest. FEBRUARY 12 afternoon TEA Celebrate the season of love with an elegant afternoon tea overlooking the shore. Light bites and live music too at the Penfield Pavilion. For ages 50+ FEBRUARY 13 ACTS of Kindness A musical, telling the story of Amélie Poulain, a shy yet imaginative woman, who embarks on a secret mission to spread joy. Multiple performances, at Sacred Heart's Edgerton Center. FEBRUARY 14 JAZZ Duo After a leisurely lunch or before your romantic dinner, enjoy a Valentine's Day concert with Tierney Sutton and Tamir Hendelman. An unforgettable afternoon of jazz at the Wilton Library, 4-5:30pm. FEBRUARY 15 SKATE DATE Roller rinks are hard to find these days, so Bridgeport's Foolproof Brewing is turning their gallery into a rink! Enjoy a family skate today from 12-4pm. Skate rentals available. FEBRUARY 16 Historic Tavern Celebrate Presidents' Day at Fairfield Museum's Sun Tavern, visited by Washington and Adams. Enjoy colonial games and a live history demonstration, make tricorn hats and sample colonial snacks. FEBRUARY 17 FEB BREAK Chefs It's a three-day kid's cooking camp! Indoor grilling, power bowls and comfort food. Doesn't get any better than that! At Wakeman Town Farm, Tuesday - Thursday. FEBRUARY 18 FAN CLUB PARTY If you're obsessed with K-Pop Demon Hunters, come celebrate Rumi, Mira, Zoey, and all things K-Pop! At this Westport Library program there'll be dancing, crafts, activities, and more! FEBRUARY 19 Motown Magic Midwinter Motown: A Soulful Night for a Greater Cause, in support of Catalyst CT. Come for the music, stay for the movement, and leave knowing you helped drive real change. At Park City Music Hall. FEBRUARY 20 MASTER CLASS Master Class is a powerful play inspired by opera legend Maria Callas, who at Juilliard, challenged singers to confront their fears and find emotional truth in their art. Multiple shows at Wilton Playshop. FEBRUARY 21 Sing-Along Fearless optimist Anna joins Kristoff on a daring journey through icy conditions, accompanied by the snowman Olaf, to find her sister Elsa and end the kingdom's eternal winter. At SHU Community Theatre. FEBRUARY 22 MINTY FRESH A blend of circus and dance, inspired by African ceremonies, rituals and heritage. The circus honors Harriet Tubman, nicknamed Minty as a child. FEBRUARY 23 IT's Tax Time! Get free guidance from SimplifyCT, the full-service VITA/IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, at the Darien Library, or via a secure site. FEBRUARY 24 Mardi GraS Wakeman Town Farm is getting into the spirit of Mardi Gras with a festive cooking class featuring traditional Cajun-inspired cuisine. BYOB, class starts at 7pm. FEBRUARY 25 COLLEGE PREP Stand Out For College, LLC invites parents and high school students to a valuable session on the college admissions process. Remove some stress, tonight at the Easton Public Library. FEBRUARY 26 Art, Jazz, Blues The KMS Team proudly sponsors the Art, Jazz & Blues Exhibit, a collaboration between the Westport Public Art Collections and MoCA\CT. Don't miss tonight's opening event! FEBRUARY 27 Winter Warm-up Enjoy an evening hike at the Fairfield Nature Center. Warm up by the fire with hot chocolate, snacks, and crafts afterwards. Great for families with children 10 and under.
