Growing up in Michigan, Heather Lewandowski attended the Cranbrook School. Its handsome 300-acre campus, designed by world-renowned architect Eliel Saarinenm, gave her “an appreciation for land and architecture,” she says.
Heather brings that discerning eye to the KMS Team at Compass. Our newest member is experienced, energetic, and – like her nine colleagues – always eager to show off this area’s beauty and charms.
Her route to Fairfield County included the University of Michigan, law school, and work in New York City. She and her husband Steven -- a professionally trained chef -- worked together on projects with famed restaurateurs like Drew Nieporent. That experience helped hone her aesthetic eye.
When Heather and her family moved to our area, real estate seemed like a natural next step. She enjoys working with clients to achieve their dreams. Her legal background helps too, as she finalizes deals.
At KMS, she found the team environment that means so much. “This is such a natural fit,” she says. “Every member brings something different. We learn from each other, every day.”
Her strengths are organizational skills and, through her four children, great familiarity with what young families seek as they move from the city to the suburbs. “I’ve got a Midwestern perspective too,” she laughs.
Heather joined the KMS Team in September. Almost immediately, she headed with us to a professional retreat in San Diego. “It was amazing to see how well connected they are, everywhere,” she says. “They have great relationships throughout the industry – not just in Connecticut, but across the country.”
With four sports-loving kids and a full-time job, free time is scarce. But Heather has volunteered at St. Luke Church for over a decade. She and her family also enjoy being on the water at Black Rock Yacht Club, and skiing in Vermont.
From the beauty of Long Island Sound and the Green Mountains, to the homes and properties of Fairfield County, Heather Lewandowski admires them all. We welcome her to our KMS Team at Compass, and look forward to introducing her to you.
