June is filled with celebrations—graduations, weddings, and of course, Father's Day! There's always something going on around town. We've curated a list of events and ideas to enlighten, entertain, and inspire, helping you and your loved ones to enjoy summer in Connecticut!

6/1 Fest of Fun

Wilton Historical Society's Food Truck Festival is a great way to explore the history and beauty of Wilton. Games, music and fly fishing demonstrations too. Join the fun on Schneck's Island and Chess Park from 11am - 4pm.

6/2 Legendary JAWS

Jaws revolutionized cinema—and scared many out of the water in the summer of 1975. Westport Country Playhouse celebrates this iconic film 50 years later with a screening and some fascinating behind-the-scene tales. Dun Dun.

6/3 Easton Arts

This annual show of Easton Arts Council members features works in a variety of mediums —

oil painting, watercolor, photography, and more. The art is on display in the library's community room through 6/28.

6/4 Lit & Wit

Join the Westport Writers’ Workshop for this FUNraiser to benefit its outreach programs for underserved communities. Headliner Jane Condon and others will get the laughs rolling at Saugatuck Rowing Club.

6/5 Taste of Westport

Savor, sip, and support CLASP Homes. The glitz and glamour of Studio 54 elevate this event, showcasing exclusive dishes, signature cocktails, music, and a silent auction. All in the beautiful setting of the Inn at Longshore.

6/6 Garden Stroll

This signature fundraiser for the Pequot Library takes you into some of the finest gardens in Southport. A rosé tent, coffee bar, treats along the way, and live music add to the festive atmosphere.

6/7 For the Lighthouse

Docktails and Oysters, hosted by Norm Bloom and Sons, is tonight! Proceeds from this popular event will be used by the Seaport Association to refurbish the Sheffield Island lighthouse to its original splendor.

6/8 Season Opener

Music at the Barn Series at Weston History & Culture Center starts tonight with Logical Pretzel. Beyond great music, with our own David Weber on drums, members receive complimentary beer & wine during the concert.

6/9 Westport Summer

Third in the series, this Westport Journal Live promises to be a crowd-pleaser! Learn tips from the pros & make this your best Westport summer. Join KMS (event sponsors) for wine & cheese too, at Ned Dimes Marina.

6/10 Dumplings & More

In collaboration with the Weston Women's League, this Lachat Town Farm cooking class will inspire at-home meals. Demystifying Asian cooking, you will also leave with tips on where to source the best ingredients.

6/11 Farmer's Market

The Wilton Farmers Market returns to the heart of Wilton at the Town Green. The market will operate every Wednesday from noon to 5:00pm, June 4th through October 29th. Fresh is best!

6/12 Traditions

A wonderful kick off to Father's Day weekend, the Yankee Doodle Fair returns to Westport. “Kids of all ages” will enjoy one of the town’s oldest and most cherished family events at the Westport Woman’s Club (Thurs - Sunday).

6/13 Beach Movie

Grab your beach blanket and snacks. Tonight, Fairfield Parks and Rec kicks off its Sand Jam Movie series with Cinderella. This classic story was first released in 1950 and stands the test of time.

6/14 Live Music

Headlining the first show of season for Lachat's Music in the Meadows is Adam Ezra Group. Join KMS for a great night with this underground, Americana band.

6/15 S'mores for Dad

What father doesn't love a good bonfire? Celebrate him today by reserving a firepit at Compo Beach. End a perfect day with the classic summertime treat, cooked over a beach fire!

6/16 Monday Matinee

School is out! Let the kids begin unwinding with a summer flick. While Tuesdays are discount days at AMC theaters, matinee tickets are always 25% off. Order your popcorn in advance!

6/17 A Town Treasure

Join the authors of Success on the Sound for a conversation on what makes Fairfield University special and different. The book documents initiatives that propelled the university's academic status.

6/18 Living History

The organization, Our Culture is Beautiful, will perform the story of Juneteenth, a lesser-known part of Black history. They will also offer an interactive drumming session at the Norwalk Library.

6/19 Art of Nature

You've seen the paintings, now watch them come to life like only NYBG can do. Let Vincent van Gogh's amazing world of art and nature sweep you away into a colorful daydream during this celebration of the famous painter.

6/20 Tri-State Music

Funk, jazz and rock 'n roll merge as Dogs in a Pile present their unique vibe. Whether playing to a sold-out crowd at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park or at Westport's Levitt Pavilion, this quintet is not to be missed!

6/21 Feel-Good Story

Waitress, a broadway musical that is so much bigger than a waitress in a small-town diner. Be uplifted by Jenna's story as performed by ACT of CT tonight and through June 22nd in Ridgefield CT.


6/22 Summer Sounds

Do you enjoy live music, good vibes, and friendly neighbors? Fairfield's Summer Concert Series is on Thursdays & Sundays at the Gazebo. Bring chairs & blankets, but you may dance more than sit!

6/23 Dine for Charity

Sedona Taphouse in Norwalk hosts a 'Dine Out for Charity' program. Enjoy a craft meal every Monday and give back. A percentage from every dinner will benefit a local charity.


6/24 Comics

Join comic book legend Jack Purcell as he presents the basics of comic creation including page and character design. He will use real life examples from his work with Disney, Marvel & DC Comics.

6/25 Sound Bath

Discover the rest, recovery and healing that sound can bring!

A Sound Bath is a meditative and therapeutic experience that uses the vibrations to promote deep relaxation and healing. Try it this evening at Earthplace.

6/26 Summer Images

MoCA CT presents a major photography exhibition, "Tod Papageorge: At the Beach," and "In the Pool," featuring works by his former Yale graduate students. Opening reception is tonight from 6 - 8pm.

6/27 My Sinatra

Cary Hoffman transforms his acclaimed PBS Special into a delightful, heartfelt one-man musical play, sharing his passion and admiration for Frank Sinatra. Enjoy this special performance at the Westport Country Playhouse!

6/28 Great Duck Race

A day of family fun on Westport's Jesup Green, presented by Westport Sunrise Rotary. Enjoy the faire in the morning and get ready for the 1pm race of more than 3,000 small plastic ducks. It's jUNe day too!

6/29 Sunday Sensation

Bring your picnic and enjoy live music tonight on the beautiful grounds of the historic Coley Homestead at the Weston History & Culture Center. Southern Fried promises hot & crispy classic rock mixed with a little R & B.

6/30 Get Noticed
