3/1 Party for the Ages

Take a step back in time, experiencing cuisine and cocktails of the colonial period, the 1940s, & 1960s, while helping fundraise for the Wilton Historical Society. They keep our stories alive and foster today's history makers — join in the fun, historical costume, or not.

3/2 Oscar Prep

Dance like the stars as you learn some new moves from celebrated Alisa K. Bowens-Mercado, an Artistic Director, Choreographer, Performer, and Instructor. Doors open at 10:30 am for this 90 minute workshop. Just one of many great offerings at the Yale's Schwarzman Center.

3/3 Next steps

Westport Library hosts "Changing Lives, Shaping Community: A Conversation with Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts Co-Founder Ricky Lee Loftus." Learn about this highly competitive performing arts college — the first non-profit college in CT to gain accredition in the last 25 years.

3/4 Socialite | Spy

Janet Wallach’s most recent book is the true story of socialite Marguerite Harrison, the American spy who slipped behind enemy lines in Russia and Germany during the turbulent period between the world wars. Hear from the author tonight at Fairfield University's Quick Center.


3/5 Multilingual?

Westport Library hosts groups for those interested in practicing conversations in another language. Italian, Spanish, French, Japanese and Hebrew. The groups are open to all levels of experience and are are self-directed.

3/6 Artist Colony

Jim McNaughton moderates a panel of artists as they discuss why our communites are magnets for artists and how the artistic spirit has evolved. Featuring Miggs Burroughs, Melissa Newman, Gina Rattan, Melody James & special guests.

3/7 Staples Players

Join a cast of 25 plus some local celebrities (Westport's 1st Selectwoman, Police Chief, Principal, and more) in a fun evening. Audience participation will keep things lively and laugh-out-loud funny. Performances March 7 - 9th.

3/8 25th Birthday!

Celebrate 25 amazing years of Stepping Stones Museum for Children. Enjoy circus-themed activities and other whimsical surprises at this unforgettable evening of family fun! Don't miss delicious dessert demos from Elm Street Diner.

3/9 The Irish Tenors

Celebrate Celtic music with The Irish Tenors as they join the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra. Dine at TerraSole before the show for a free glass of wine. And don't forget to spring forward when you get home as Daylight Savings comes to an end.

3/10 A Special Night

Tonight celebrate the legacy of the Westport Country Playhouse. Take a backstage tour and enjoy a cocktail while hearing anecdotes from actors and figures of the Playhouse's past. Then, sit back and enjoy a fabulous performance.

3/11 Wine & Dine

An evening of Italian excellence is coming to The Bridge at Saugatuck. A five-course experience, with legendary wines— from Gaja, Biondi Santi, Dal Forno Romano, and more— paired with dishes that bring out the very best in every sip.

3/12 History & Health

Two very important, informative events take place today at the Fairfield Museum & History Center. First, from 10am - noon, there is an Alzheimer's Open House. Second, is a fascinating look at Cornelius Vanderbuilt and the NY Central Railroad.

3/13 Bagpipes & Rock

It’s Bagpipes. It’s Rock. It’s the Red Hot Chilli Pipers. Rock anthems and poems may sit comfortably alongside the great tunes from the glens and the mountains of Scotland...tonight they are found at SHU Community Theater.

3/14 It's 3.14159 Day!

“Every day is National Pizza Day in Connecticut when you have the best damn pizza in the country.” And this is your chance to help build the CT Pizza Trail — vote for your favorites starting today!

3/15 Sap to Syrup

Tap a tree, take the maple syrup taste test, learn about Indigenous Peoples, colonial, and modern methods of making syrup and, of course, taste Ambler Farm’s syrup over vanilla ice cream. Yum!

3/16 Soundscapes

“All That Jazz!” at the Weston Library introduces two new voices from the New York jazz scene – guitarist Matthew Rotker-Lynn and vocalist Ariana Stefanidis.

3/17 St. Patrick's Day

Corned beef and cabbage...on pizza?! Sign us up with a side of Colony's famous hot oil. Everyone is Irish today, why not make everything Irish too?!

3/18 BYO Vinyls

Every Tuesday, Nod Hill Brewery presents, Bring Your Own records to play on their HiFi system. Go old school, and take $1 off every beer.

3/19 ABCs of Success

Join CT Mirror as they sit down with Athletic Brewing Company's founders to discuss how they went from brewing in a CT garage to becoming the largest dedicated non-acoholic brewer in the world. Part of a four-part series, This Could Work, at Ferguson Library in Stamford.

3/20 Sing and Spin

Are you ready to step on stage and show off your shower voice? An unforgettable evening of music and fun awaits with DJ Marv at 314 Beer Garden's Sing and Spin Karaoke. Sing your heart out and brace yourself for a twist – every karaoke star spins the wheel for a fabulous prize!

3/21 Hot-headed Harry

Lachat's kitchen is transformed into a Brooklyn restaurant, under the direction of brillant chef Harry. Bristling with business partner Mike, the venture is not a smooth blend of artistry and commerce....but this dramatic comedy, Seared, gets 5 stars!

3/22 Earth's place

Families gather around the campfire to roast marshmallows, make s’mores and celebrate the Spring Equinox! You will also meet an animal ambassador and participate in a guided activity. There is a different theme for each month's campfire.

3/23 Orchestra Month

The Norwalk Symphony collaborates with members of the Norwalk Youth Symphony Orchestra, presenting cherished classics during CT's designated Orchestra Month. This special event concludes with the narration of Aaron Copland’s Lincoln Portrait, by Craig Melvin.

3/24 Wilton Women

Wilton Woman's Club helps the community by stocking Wilton's Food Pantry (every Monday), maintaining the lawn area on Old Ridgefield Road, working with Wilton Social Services on events for seniors, and other projects as needed. Why not get involved today?

3/25 What you Will

Shakespeare's 12th Night, a legendary rom-com, was first performed in 1602! Catch a free, modern rendition tonight at R.D. Scinto Auditorium in Shelton.

3/26 A Sight to See

The six-story glass book stack tower is just one fascination at Yale's Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library. The exhibit of the Gutenberg Bible is another.

3/27 Lift Off

Inspire your budding aeronautical engineer with this educational & fun program at Westport Library. Explore different materials, design and propulsion systems in today's session for those in grades 4-6.

3/28 A Night Out

Parents can enjoy a night out while their kids enjoy a night in at Earthplace! The kids will explore Animal Hall, and if weather permits, may enjoy a night hike and an outdoor campfire. Fun for all!

3/29 Weston's "Rosies"

In celebration of Women's History Month, learn about "Rosie the Riveters" at this Weston History & Culture Center program. At the height of the war, women made up 42% of the workforce at the Springfield Armory. Weston's Rosies may not have been in factories but they had important roles nonetheless.

3/30 A Cappella

Join the Yale Spizzwinks(?) for an a cappella concert at Wilton Library. Composed entirely of full time undergraduate students, their original skits, choreography, and unmitigated bashing of Yale’s athletic rivals have left audiences rolling with laughter at every performance!

3/31 Makeover Monday

What do you have to lose? Head to the SONO collection in Norwalk for a free consultation. Makeup, skin care, fragrance or fashion — the experts at Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom and Sephora have you covered. An appointment will secure your spot (11am - 7pm)
