Geronimo’s is on Post Road in Fairfield, just over the Westport border. You’ve driven by, seen people on the patio and thought hmmm a tequila bar? Well, Monday through Saturday from 4 -7pm you can try their classic margarita, house wine, skillet nachos and/or short rib taquitos for just $5. They have other specials too. You’ll probably enjoy it so much that you’ll hit their late night happy hour too – from 9pm to close.
Nearby, Local Kitchen & Craft Beer Bar also has happy hour specials on Tuesday to Friday from 4 - 7pm. Their patio space is smaller but their beer selection can’t be beat. Draughts, house wines and well drinks $4, small plates $5. Oh, and Mondays? Specials like $3 draughts from 3pm to close.
In Westport, stroll down to the Whelk, where happy hour specials continue until 6:30, (Tues – Friday) with drink specials and $1 Copps Island Oysters.
In SONO, Washington Prime features 50% off select appetizers, raw bar and drinks every day from 4 to 6 pm. Sundays? Enjoy a bottle of wine (under $125) for 50% off. Nearby, The Spread offers daily specials weekdays from 4:30 -7, half-priced bottles of wine on Sundays & Mondays and $1 oysters Tuesday from 4:30 until close. A hip, sleek eatery with indoor/outdoor dining, featuring inventive dishes made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Offering outdoor heaters like others on this list, but the fireplace really extends the outdoor fun at Cactus Rose in Wilton. Their specials run Monday-Friday, from 4 to 6pm. Save 30% on all appetizers and chose your favorite – red or white – sangria for $7.
