Not an April Fool's Day joke! Bowling at Uncle Buck's comes pretty close to bowling under the sea. And because it is inside the Bass Pro shop in Bridgeport, you can shop for all your outdoor recreation needs too.

Watch & learn as Carol King Platt turns everyday items into flower vessels. Some attendees of this Pequot Library presentation will win a raffle of the arrangements! As a former weekly columnist for New London Day for 23 years, she is sure to offer great tips.

A forum for creators, artist and fans with panels, concerts and workshops. So much happening, it is a five day event at Westport Library.

Because anything can happen when Jean Louisa Kelly has a mic in her hand! Westport Country Playhouse is proud to have Jean tell her story, in true cabaret style.

Dancing & rock 'n roll are banned in this small town. What's a teen from the big city to do? Spend a few hours tonight (or Sat/Sun), watching these talented youngsters tell the story.
4/6 Sheep Shearing
Ambler Farm's resident sheep, Ben & Jerry, will have their winter wool shorn today at 11. The farm will also be hiving their honeybees too. Lots to see & learn at Ambler Farm (no charge)

The Elicit Brewery is the host of this spring's Taste of Fairfield. Today, you can sample the specialties of over 35 restaurants, wineries and craft brewers while enjoying live music.
4/8 Total Eclipse?
Explore the science behind today's eclipse at Stepping Stones Museum for Children. Make masks or viewers too in preparation for the viewing party at 2pm.
4/9 Blend Art & Nature
Ursa Gallery hosts the pop-up art show at the ColorBlends House and Gardens in Bridgeport. Stroll the gardens, enjoying the ever changing display, then head inside to view the exhibit, Kaleidoscope Eyes.
4/10 Play with Food
This popular lunchtime theater is at Pequot Library today! Enjoy a boxed gourmet lunch while watching the show. No better way to spend the lunch hour (and a half).
4/11 Promises, Promises
Neil Simon wrote the book; Burt Bacharach wrote the music. Catch one of four shows of this classic Rom-com at Sacred Heart's Edgerton Center.
4/12 College Ball
Fresh cut grass and the crack of a bat, baseball season has begun. Little league, high school, college or MLB, catching a game is a great way to spend an afternoon. Today, Fairfield U takes on St. Peter's at 3pm.

Saturday night live, music that is. Head to Milestone in Georgetown for their Saturday live music series. Tonight's band might just get you up dancing. It's a disco dance party!
4/14 CT in the Movies
Actress and film historian Illeana Douglas talks about the recently branded, Connecticut Movies. With over 200 featured films using CT as a backdrop, Illeana has uncovered some surprising insights.
4/15 April Farm Break
Staycation this week? Lachat Town Farm is running a camp for those in grades K - 5. Camp is outdoors where spring can be observed - in the plants and flowers, birds and animals. M - F, 9 am until 1 pm.

Three mornings at Wesport Library where children will be introduced to hand-sewing techniques. Which animal will they choose to make - teddy bear, cat, dog, elephant, or another favorite? 9:30 - 11:00am
4/17 Comfy Circle
Join fellow knitters for some camaraderie while working on your own project. This monthly knitting circle meets on the third Thursday of each month at Lachat Farm. No charge, but registration is required.
4/18 A Story Teller
Professor Greg Jackson tells the tale of “The Unlikely Union,” weaving defining moments into an exciting tale of a young nation trying to form, define, and reform itself. Epic storytelling of real characters combined with real context for today, energized with multimedia and music.
4/19 Perfect Days
Hirayama, content in his life as a janitor, enjoys books, music and photography. Through various encounters, he reflects on the beauty he finds in the world. Warning, this film may have a positive impact on your perspectives!
4/20 Date Night
It's back! Enjoy a three-course dinner at one of 12 Westport restaurants and a concert in the Trefz Forum of the Westport Library. This month, West End Blend performs at 8pm with a mix of funk and soul.
4/21 Without Words
Professionally choreographed dance routines are performed by the students of Sacred Heart. Accompanied by student musicians, this will be a delightful way to spend Sunday afternoon.
4/22 Town love
Spend this earth day cleaning up some of Fairfield's most treasured locales—the beaches! Meet at Jennings to pick up supplies and head out. Greener and cleaner is the goal!
4/23 Tech 101
Have questions about the working of or apps on your phone, tablet or laptop? Stop into the Fairfield Library during adult tech hour, 2 - 3pm. Registration required.
4/24 For the Heart

Come out and support the Westport Firefighters in their goal to replace AEDs in emergency vehicles. Enjoy whiskey tasting, entertainment, food and other beverages at AutoStrada.
4/25 College Countdown
It will be here before you know it! Staples guidance department offers a discussion of college admission testing and the eve-changing landscape. No registration necessary. Westport Library tonight at 6:30.
4/26 Grease Lightin'
Celebrating 86 seasons, The Wilton Playshop is producing a fan-favorite Grease! Enjoy the great rock 'n roll score while watching Sandy, Danny and the gang navigate Rydell High. Tonight is opening night!
4/27 Toast to the Trees
Join us in celebrating Earth Day at Earthplace! As co-sponsors we will be on hand to help the kids with a craft. You may find a few of us in the beer garden too! Food, drinks & games, 4 - 6pm
4/28 Make Your Own
Sip a beer or cider while learning to make your own candle. The mess isn't in your kitchen it's at the beer garden of Nod Hill Brewery. Bring a friend to this #sundayfunday event.
4/29 Bearing Witness
Speaker Bobbi Markowitz's mother was liberated from Auschwitz Concentration Camp and her Father from Dachau. Hear their story of survival and hope, tonight at the Fairfield Library.
4/30 Walk a Goat
Yes, you read that right - grab a group (min of 5) and head out for a Nature Goat Walk. Pet, feed and learn about the Pygora goats as you walk along the trail at Blue Button Farm in Easton.
