5/1 A Little Bit Country
Lyle Lovett bring his mix of country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel and blues to Ridgefield Playhouse tonight. Joined by Lisa Loeb, it promises to be a great night of conversation and song.
5/2 Spring Farm Dinner
Chef Alison Milwe Grace is preparing a mouth-watering feast for this spring dinner. For starters, scrumptious sea scallops over Wakeman Town Farm greens...and to finish, a lemon berry trifle. Your choice of main course - 6:30 tonight!

After spring rains the frogs frolic,
at least in Redding for the past two decades! Join in the fun as the community gathers to support the library. Games and crafts, food trucks and live music to help with your spring fever!
5/5 SONO Celebrates
El Segundo is the place to be for Cinco de Mayo celebrations! The courtyard is open and a perfect place to enjoy food & drink specials, savor tequila tastings, and sway to the beat all weekend long.
5/6 Minks to Sinks
Last day! If you missed the sale this weekend, today is your chance to pick up some bargains. At $10 a bag you are sure to find something fun in the eclectic mix of chic clothing, toys and essential housewares.
5/7 Lucky Dogs
Bring your dog to Yappy Hour where you can enjoy pizza, pints, & puppies. No dog, no problem! Lucky Dog Refuge will bring some adorable, adoptable pets to 314 Beer Garden—a fun outdoor beer garden with wood fired pizza too.

Mother's Day weekend is the annual Dogwood festival at Greenfield Hill, but we say go early to get a sneak peek at the blossoms! Ranging from white to pink/red, the trees are abundant & beautiful in this Fairfield neighborhood.
5/9 Farmers' Market
And so it begins! Farm-fresh produce and more every Thursday, 10 - 2, starting today. Come greet your favorite vendors and meet some new ones too. #farmfresh #shoplocal
5/10 Just Desserts
Larger than life, Peter Anton's sculptures of sweets must be seen to be enjoyed! The whimsical creations will bring back memories and get you thinking about your relationship with food. At the Fairfield U Art Museum, through July 27th.
5/11 A Little Help
"What would you think if I sang out of tune?" At this venue, no one would care! A fundraiser for the benefit of Weston Social Services. Give a little help to your friends - join in the fun tonight at Norfield Grange in Weston.

A special Mother's Day Brunch at LaPlage will make you a hero in her eyes. Three course price fixe in a fabulous setting. Hope you made a reservation! If not, pack a picnic for the beach...

Composed just for the Staples' Jazz ensemble, the world premier written by Dr. Kyle Saulnier will be performed tonight. Playing at the Westport Library as part of the Y Men's Jazz Series, the concert begins at 7pm.

Theater Works presents this treasured tale in a morning show at the Klein Auditorium. Watch as Charlotte's plan unfolds to help save her friend Wilbur. Enduring themes of love, bravery and friendship never grow old.

Romeo and Juliet met on a Sunday, the beginning of the worst week ever! Learn some fascinating & fun facts about Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers at Norwalk Public Library. 6:30pm
5/16 Addams Family
Wilton High School presents America's favorite ghoulish family in this spring musical. As Wednesday falls in love, the family ties to cope with his normalcy. Shows Friday - Sunday.
5/17 Happily Ever After
What happens when the fairytales end is...hilarious. Come find out at the immersive Fairytale Farm (aka Lachat Town Farm). Hansel & Gretel, Pinocchio & friends will be on hand giving you the real scoop!
5/18 Spruce Things Up
Oliver Nurseries is wrapping up their Plein Air Spring Speaker Series today with a talk from Jed, the evergreen expert. There is no charge for the event, but we dare you to leave Oliver's empty handed — it is full of beauty & inspiration!
5/19 Sunday Run-day
Ambler Farm & Wilton's Fit Body Boot Camp host their second annual Fun Run. "Whether you prefer a slow stroll or a rapid run, a few activity stations scattered along the course will have you physically jumping for joy."
5/20 MoCA Concert
It's no wonder that the talented musicians from Staples' Chamber Orchestra have been invited to perform at MoCA Westport. Enjoy their concert tonight from 7-8pm and experience first-hand the rewards of a committed music curriculum.
5/21 Snicker & Snack
Normally closed Monday & Tuesday nights, Walrus Alley is open tonight for a Comedy Night. Dinner is at 6:30 followed by three stand-up guys: Myq Kaplan, Nick Scopoletti and Kevin Fizgerald. Tickets required.
5/22 Taste of Westport
With over 24 restaurants and 6 bars, you will have plenty of options for food and beverages at this all-you-can fundraiser for CLASP. Since 1982, CLASP has provided homes & opportunities for those adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
5/23 Podcast Live
Cooking By Heart, Chris Sarandon's fun podcast, features special guest Alice Water tonight. Leading the "slow food" movement, Alice's use of fresh, locally grown organic ingredients and her advocacy of sustainable agriculture has made her one of America's most influential chefs.
5/24 Weston Fair

Every year, Weston celebrates Memorial Day with a weekend long fair. Games, food and rides plus other events like a 5k and parade. All welcome at this important fundraiser for the Weston Parent Teacher Organization.
5/25 Beach Nights
Did you know Fairfield residents are able to reserve one beach bonfire per household during the summer (May 1 - Sept 30)? Two fire pits are found at Jennings beach and one is at Lake Mohegan (with more restrictive dates). A great way to spend a summer night!
5/26 Beach Day
Memorial Day weekend is full of food, fun and sun. Why not spend a day at CT's first state park? With plenty of sunny sand and shady picnic areas with grills, a stroll through the park will definitely wet your appetite. A CT license plate covers the entrance fee to Sherwood Island.
5/27 Flags Flying
Westport's Memorial Day Parade kicks off at 9am as does the one in Wilton and Weston (Fairfield's parade starts at 10am) March, or watch and salute —this is the day to honor those that lost their lives in service.
5/28 Tuesday Travels
If you can sneak away for an hour, the walk to Fayerweather Island is great! From Seaside Park in Bridgeport, journey on the rock jetty to the island. While the lighthouse is closed, the scenery is special.
5/29 Art on Display
Fairfield Public School's will showcase its students' art in a town-wide exhibition at the Pequot Library. Reception tonight, 5 - 8pm with food trucks on hand for the event. Artwork will be displayed through May 30th.
5/30 Sunset Sail
No boat necessary, the Norwalk Seaport Association has it covered. Unwind and enjoy the evening as you sail past the Norwalk Islands and hear stories of the sailor merchants of the past.
5/31 It's Levitt Season
Tonight, one of over 50 free nights of outdoor entertainment, features Prince/Bowie — a tribute band. With a playlist of hits like Let's Dance and Purple Rain, you are sure to know a few songs...
