6/1 Known World-wide
Connecticut shade grown tobacco wrappers can be found on some of the finest cigars in the world. This documentary explores how the growing of this crop impacted the culture and influenced the civil rights movement. Enjoy pre-show mixer and/or post-show event too!
6/2 Sunday Funday
Join the crowd running a 5K through Norwalk for the benefit of the Norwalk Educational Foundation. The fun part? The race ends at O'Neills Pub in SONO for an epic afterparty. The school with the most registrants wins $1,000!

So, you went to Olivers Nurseries' Perennial Sale yesterday. Today is the day to get those beautiful plants in the ground. Adding color to your landscape does wonders for your home's value and your mood!

Take a Friday stroll through some stunning Southport gardens. This self-guided walking tour starts at the heart of Southport Village at Pequot Library. Come early for breakfast, featuring architect Robert Dean or come back for evening cocktails on the lawn.
6/8 Porch Jam
The seaside enclave of Norwalk, Rowayton Village, has 30 homes and businesses participating in its 5th annual Porch Jam. Raising funds for transformative art and music experiences, Jam has been enriching lives since 2010.
6/9 Evening al fresco
Music at the Barn returns! Join us at Weston History & Culture Center as Logical Pretzel takes the stage. Bring a picnic & some beverages, or enjoy food trucks on site. Come early to enjoy the new exhibit, What Lies Beneath.
6/10 Home-made Sushi
Weston Women's League partners with LaChat Town Farm in offering this hands-on culinary event. Make two rolls - Shrimp Tempura, Tuna, Vegetarian, or Salmon, and have your chop sticks ready!
6/11 Why Art Matters
Bianca Bosker takes us on another fantastic journey, this time through the world of art. Just as she did with wine, Bianca burrows deep into art — and her journey is sure to open your eyes. Tonight at the Westport Library.
6/12 Local Artists
Westport supports the Arts! Since 2018, Westport Country Playhouse has been hosting the Artists Collective Art Shows. Stop in on June 12 -15, between 1 and 5 pm, to see some amazing work by a dozen local artists.
6/13 It's a Dandy
The Westport Women's Club Yankee Doodle Fair returns this weekend! Opening tonight and running through Sunday, we are sure you will find time for some rides, games, food, music & crafts.
6/14 Summer Campout
Lawn games and telescopes. Cookies, s'mores and pillow fights. This night is a tribute to Miss Susan and kicks off Pequot Library's Summer Reading Program.
6/15 Trains & Cars
Give Dad a pre-Fathers' Day treat — a visit to the Danbury Railway Museum, with the added bonus of a car show. Past shows have boasted over 130 classic to custom cars. Train rides, music & food too!
6/16 Day for Dads
Who doesn't love a day at the beach? Bring a picnic to celebrate dad, or bring his fishing pole. Sherwood Island is free to all in a vehicle with a CT plate! Towns beaches are also a great place to celebrate Dad.
6/17 Two Beach Walk
Experience Fairfield sets out a two beach walk thats spans 2.7 miles — a perfect way to kick-off the week. Grab a friend — or your headphones as there is an audio guide to accompany the walk. Click for details!
6/18 Isle of Klezbos
Enjoy an evening of free outdoor music at the Levitt Pavilion in Westport. Tonight, they are featuring the rambunctious sounds of Isle of Klezbos, a band that respects and honors Yiddish musical traditions.
6/19 Black Stories
Hear stories of the region’s Black community from colonial times to the present. From enslaved people to soldiers, sailors, activists, artists & respected citizens, this tour explores sites along a 2 mile path through Westport.
6/20 3K Steps + Art
Get a little indoor exercise and explore the SONO Collection's exhibit of modern art. They feature more than 20 pieces of art amongst dozens of stores and food outlets. Be sure to checkout Pinstripes too for a little more exercise (bowling or bocce).
6/21 Excited to Read
The Easton Library's summer reading program is magic! Join this kickoff event where magician Matt Matthews brings storybooks to life. Learn a few tricks, have a few laughs and let the summer reading adventure begin.
6/22 BRC Presents
Do you know about Black Rock Theater? Beyond dance and acting lessons, this non-profit brings wonderful plays to life. This month, they present the award-winning musical, Rent. Choose a performance 6/15-23.
6/23 The Petrillos
Soprano's Aida Turturro stars in this one-act comedic farce. Laugh along with the Petrillos through a lost engagement ring and unravelling secrets. Today at 3:30, SHU Community Theater.
6/24 Bike Five Beaches

If you enjoyed last Monday's beach walk, you'll love exploring Fairfield's five beaches on this 15.5 mile bike route. While mostly flat, there are five hilly climbs that will get your heart pumping!
6/25 Barre Outdoors
You may have tried barre, a low impact, total body workout. But, have you ever done it outdoors? Join Weston resident & instructor Lancelot Francis for a special class at Lachat Town Farm. Tuesdays, 11am-12pm.
6/26 Fresh is Best
Wednesdays, from 12 - 5pm, you can pick fresh at Wilton's Town Green. From produce, baked goods and seafood to homemade health products, flowers and plants, the variety will delight.
6/27 Jennings' Mermaid
The Little Mermaid plays tonight on the beach in Fairfield. Part of the Sand Jam series, a traditional pre-movie dance party with a DJ kicks off the night. Bring a picnic dinner or some snacks to enjoy the show!
6/28 Barnum Festival
PT Barnum was a remarkable entertainer & entrepreneur, helped put Bridgeport on the map. The Museum honoring his accomplishments, a national historic site, is under reconstruction. Yet, the festival continues, with fireworks tonight!
6/29 Ducks are back!
It's jUNe day in Westport, a perfect day for this international charity to host its fun faire. The flags will be flying, the ducks will be racing and the fun (activities, games) will be happening on Jesup Green.
6/30 Out of the Water
Da duh, da duh, da duh..."You are going to need a bigger boat." Who remembers this summer classic that scared us out of the water? See it again on the big screen at SHU Community Theatre.
